2010 Student Show

Show off all your hard work, this is the "recital" of the Art World!
 
This year we have a special show scheduled for all art students who have taken a class in the last year here at The Art Stop.  All classes are eligible, children’s and adults. We encourage you to put something into the show, after all it is the “recital” of the art world! We will have an opening reception on the Thursday before Village Days, August 12th at 6:00, refreshments will be served. The show will be up through Village Days Saturday August 14th. Each student is invited to enter at least 2 pieces of artwork, completed either in class or outside of class.  Each piece must be framed and ready to hang.  You will receive a 30% discount in our frame shop if you choose to frame it here if it is going in the show. Please note, our framer will be out of town the week before, and custom framing typically takes 2 and a half to 3 weeks, so please plan accordingly.
 
1. Fill out the registration form (The Bottom portion of the 1st page).
 
2. Drop off is Saturday August 7th from 11am to 3pm
 
3.  You can enter up to 4 pieces, and they must be framed and ready to hang. The pieces
could have been completed in class or outside of class. Bring title card completed with each piece (page 2)
 
4.  You may invite friends and family members to the reception
 
5.  Dates for the show: Friday August 13th, 10-5pm; Saturday August 15th, 10am-5pm.
Opening reception Thursday August 12th 6 to 8pm
 
6.  Registration Deadline is August 7, 2010.
