About the Artist
Born March 16, 1955 in Northern New York State
Educated at Oneonta State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree
in Dietetics in 1977.
Worked as a Registered Dietitian for 20 years, and decided to leave the
medical field and work on her art.
Since 1997, Pat has studied with various artists including colored pencil
artist Kristy Kutch, oil and pastel artist Albert Handell, pastel artists
Robert Carsten, Nicora Gangi, Sergeui Oussik, and oil artist Timothy Tyler.
Pat has also studied with numerous local artists, including portrait artist
Sari Gaby.
Pat belongs to several art organizations including the Rochester Art Club,
the Rochester Area Colored Pencil Club, the Colored Pencil Society of
America and the Vermont Pastel Society. Pat has served as a Board
Member and Newsletter Editor for the Rochester Art Club for the past two
years, and currently as Vice President.
Pat has had numerous awards locally for her artwork, including:
* Best of Show at the Webster Art Club in 2002, 2004, and 2005 (both Spring
and Fall Shows), jurors awards in 2002, 2004 and 2005, honorable mentions
in 2003 and 2004, and the Popular Vote award in 2004 and 2005.
*Rochester Art Club 2005, 2006, 2007. Honorable Mention in the Rochester
Art Club Fall Show 2005. Numerous local shows including Center at High
Falls, Rochester, NY, Century Club of Rochester, NY.

Pat has demonstrated her artistic skills for the Rochester Philharmonic
Orchestra's celebration for Degas, the Lakeville Art Club, the East Aurora
Art Club, the Buffalo Fine Arts League, the Williamsville Art Society,
the Webster Art Club, the Penfield Art Association, the Rochester Area
Colored Pencil Club, and the Western Wayne Art Group. Pat currently teaches
pastels, oils and colored pencil at The Art Stop in Webster, where she
is also represented by their Fine Art Gallery.
Pat currently lives in Webster and works from a
studio in Anderson Alley at 250 North Goodman Street in Rochester.
Her preferred medium is pastel, but also works in oil and colored pencil.
