| Mixed media has been a resourceful tool for famous artists throughout the 20th century. Although it is not new way of making art it is the youngest of all techniques amongst the art world. Artists who join this class will learn techniques used by 20th century artists such as Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Larry Poons, Anne Truitt, and more. Artist will also learn how to improve their techniques in painting, drawing , and collage along with other mediums. The Final objective of the class is to create a commanding, intellectual, and insightful piece of art that is not entirely metaphoric or literal in anyway. This class is most beneficial towards artists fifteen and older. We also recommend artists who are out of school and simply wish to learn more techniques and ideas to better enhance their current art making skills. Art Instructor Jake Adams has shown his work in major establishments around the world such as Carnegie Hall, Gallery 511 in NYC Chelsea, and The Linden B. Johnson Building in Washington D.C. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
